Pakistan’s cricket team toured the West Indies from July 31 to August 12, 2025. They played three T20I matches in Lauderhill, Florida and three ODI matches in Tarouba, Trinidad. Earlier in July, the teams had met in a two-match Test series which ended 1-1, with Pakistan winning the first Test and West Indies winning the second.

In the recent T20I series, Pakistan won 2-1 after some close and exciting games. In the ODI series, West Indies came out on top with 2-1. The final ODI was one-sided, with West Indies winning by 202 runs. Shai Hope scored a match-winning century and was named Player of the Match, while Jayden Seales took key wickets across the series to win Player of the Series.

Pakistan and the West Indies have a long cricketing history across formats. In T20Is, they have played 21 matches against each other in which Pakistan has completely dominated WI. They have won 15 of these encounters, while WI have won only 3.

Last time when both teams met in a T20I series in 2021, Pakistan outclassed the WI by winning all 3 matches. 

In ODIs, WI has slightly more wins than Pak. They have both played 137 games, and WI has won 71 of them. Pak could manage to win 63 games. Pakistan defeated the West Indies by 3-0 on home soil in their last bilateral ODI series.

As of now, none of the teams has announced their official squad for the upcoming series. Both boards are expected to reveal their squads soon. Stay tuned for the official announcement and more updates. 

Overall, WI has shown capabilities on its home ground, and Pakistan has the upper hand in recent limited-overs clashes. As the upcoming series will be a home series for WI, we expect an intense clash between these two.
