Chicago Kingsmen Tops The Table

As of now, the Chicago Kingsmen lead the points table with a perfect record of 4 wins from 4 matches, and have 8 points with the best NRR of +1.625.

Northern Territory Strike follows them with 3 wins in 4 matches. In 4 games, they got 6 points with a NRR of +0.87.

Teams With 4 Points

Several teams, including the Pakistan Shaheens, Melbourne Stars Academy, Melbourne Renegades Academy, Perth Scorchers Academy, and Bangladesh A, have 4 points each.

Pakistan Shaheens scored 227 in the first game and won it by 79 runs. Since then, Pakistan has lost the plot and lost 2 matches and won only 1. Meanwhile, Melbourne Stars Academy chased the biggest total of the tournament in the sixth match on the last delivery, where Thomas Rages hit 128 runs in only 65 balls.

Melbourne Stars Academy and Melbourne Renegades Academy have lost only 1 game out of 3, but Pakistan Shaheens and Perth Scorchers Academy have lost 2 out of 4 games. As only 4 teams will advance to the knock-out games, these 6 teams have a higher chance of advancing to the playoffs.

Teams At The Bottom Of The Table

Other teams participating in this tournament, like the Hobart Hurricanes Academy, Adelaide Strikers Academy, and Nepal, have garnered just 2 points each and also lag in NRR. The Australian Capital Territory is yet to win a match after playing 4 games and remains at the bottom of the table.

The tournament’s structure, with its intense single round-robin format followed by knockouts, means every match has a significant impact on the standings. Teams are chasing wins and looking to improve their net run rate as the top four teams qualify for the semi-finals scheduled for August 24, 2025.
