The Women’s Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) 2025 is the 4th edition of this exciting domestic T20 women’s cricket tournament. It will run from September 6 to September 17, with seven matches. The entire tournament will take place at the Providence Stadium in Guyana, which seats around 15,000 spectators. 

Three teams will feature in this tournament:

  • Barbados Royals Women
  • Guyana Amazon Warriors Women
  • Trinbago Knight Riders Women

Each team will play four games in a double round-robin group stage format. The top 2 teams on points will advance to the final to compete for the championship title. The Barbados Royals will enter the tournament as defending champions. 

Where To Watch Women’s CPL 2025

For fans who are interested in watching the WCPL 2025 live, the tournament is available for streaming primarily on FanCode. FanCode has official rights to live stream the tournament on its app and website. It will also provide up-to-date scores and highlights. The live telecast of the matches will be available on the JioStar Network.

RUSH Sports is the primary broadcaster of WCPL in the Caribbean Region. Some other broadcasters in different regions of the Caribbean are as follows:

  • Grenada – CCN TV
  • Guyana – E-Networks
  • St Lucia – WinnersTV

In the UK and the Republic of Ireland, TNT Sports will stream all the matches of the tournament. In Australia, the live streaming will be available on Fox Sports, while in New Zealand, it will be available on Sky Sports NZ.

In the USA and Canada, all matches will be available on Willow TV. Cricbuzz will stream all the matches of WCPL in the MENA region. In Sub-Saharan Africa, SuperSport is the official telecast partner. The opening match of the tournament will see Guyana Amazon Warriors taking on the Trinbago Knight Riders Women. The Knight Riders lost the final to the Barbados Royals Women last season.

Each teams are filled with some star players. Some key players to watch are Chamari Athpaththu and Hayley Matthews for the Barbados Royals, Shabnim Ismail and Stafanie Taylor for the Guyana Amazon Warriors, and Jess Jonassen and Deandra Dottin for the Trinbago Knight Riders. We expect a good competition and performances to inspire other Caribbean women to play cricket.
