The third season of the Women’s Continental Cricket Cup is scheduled to start on Thursday, October 9. The first edition of the tournament was played in 2022 and was a three-match series between Malta Women and Romania Women. Malta won all three games in the series.
The second season was played in 2023, and two new teams, the Isle of Man Women and Greece Women, were added to the tournament. The Isle of Man won all three games and won the tournament.
Women’s Continental Cricket Cup 2025: Tournament Details
Cricket Romania will host the third edition of the Women’s Continental Cricket Cup 2025. A total of five teams will take part in the competition this year. Apart from Romania Women, the other four teams are Austria Women, Turkey Women, Bulgaria Women, and Norway Women.
The tournament will start on Thursday, October 9, and will conclude on Sunday, October 12. Each team will face the other four teams once in the tournament. A total of 10 matches will be played at the Moara Vlasiei Cricket Ground in Ilfov County.
Norway Women and Austria Women have faced each other in three T20I matches previously. Turkey Women and Bulgaria Women have played one T20I game against each other. All other matches in the tournament will be the first-ever game between the competing teams.
