The Indian Heaven Premier League (IHPL) 2025 is a brand-new T20 cricket tournament launched to promote cricket in the Jammu & Kashmir region. The league’s inaugural season began on October 25, 2025, with all matches played at the iconic Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar.

Several well-known international players, such as Chris Gayle, Imran Tahir, Martin Guptill, Shaun Marsh, and Devon Smith, have joined the tournament.

Fans can enjoy the tournament on the FanCode app and website.​ Apart from this, Prasar Bharti Sports is also live-streaming all matches on its YouTube channel. In the inaugural season, 8 teams are participating in the tournament. All 8 teams are divided into 2 groups, Group A and Group B.

Gulmarg Royal tops the points table with 2 wins in 3 matches. Jammu Lions follows them with the same 4 points and 0.134 NRR.

How Does the Indian Heaven Premier League Points Table Work?

The Indian Heaven Premier League (IHPL) points table works as follows:

  • Each winning team will earn 2 points. 
  • A loss will yield 0 points, and a no-result will produce 1 point with no changes in the NRR.
  • Net Run Rate (NRR) is used to rank teams tied on points; it reflects the difference between runs scored and runs conceded per over.

Format of the Indian Heaven Premier League

The tournament consists of 27 matches in total, including league matches, semi-finals, and the final. All matches are played at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar.

  • All eight participating teams will play 6 matches in a round-robin format, facing each other twice in the group stage.
  • The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the semi-final. 
  • The winner of the semi-finals will meet in the final.
