The 14-year-old star Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a record-breaking knock in the ongoing ACC Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025. India A is taking on the United Arab Emirates in the second match of the tournament. India A won the toss and elected to bat.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Priyansh Arya opened the innings for India A. Arya was run out for just 10 runs in the second over. Naman Dhir, who is the vice-captain of the team, joined Vaibhav in the middle. India made 82 runs in the first six overs. The duo added 163 runs for the second wicket. Vaibhav took 32 deliveries to reach the 100-run mark. Naman got out for 34 runs off 23 deliveries. Vaibhav made 144 runs off 42 deliveries before getting out in the 13th over.

Vaibhav hit 15 sixes and 11 fours during his innings. Skipper Jitesh Sharma remained unbeaten on 83 runs off 32 deliveries. He hit eight boundaries and six sixes in his innings. India finished with 297 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. Muhammad Farazuddin, Aayan Khan, and Muhammad Arfan took one wicket each for the UAE.

It was his second century in T20s for Vaibhav. He made his IPL debut during the 2025 season and scored the fastest century by an Indian batter in the IPL. It was also the second-fastest century in the IPL.

The UAE scored 35 runs in the powerplay and lost two wickets. The team lost four wickets for 48 runs in 7.4 overs. Gurjapneet Singh and Harsh Dubey took two wickets each. At the end of the 10th over, the UAE scored 67 runs for the loss of four wickets. India used seven bowlers in the first 10 overs.
