Here is a quick overview of the ongoing matches of the Round 5 Elite category –

Odisha vs Nagaland

Odisha won the toss and elected to bat. A partnership of 179 runs for the fifth wicket between Anil Parida and Samantray helped Odisha post a total of 275 runs. Ronit More, Imliwati Lemtur, and Jonathan R picked up three wickets each for Nagaland. At tea break, Nagaland made 114 runs for the loss of three wickets. At stumps on day two, Nagaland got bundled out for 161 runs. Odisha declared their second innings on 350 runs for the loss of five wickets. At lunch on day four, Nagaland made 108 runs for the loss of three wickets. They have a target of 465 runs to win this game.

Tamil Nadu vs Uttar Pradesh

Tamil Nadu made 455 runs in their first innings after winning the toss and electing to bat. Baba Indrajith and Andre Siddarth C made a century each. Kartik Yadav took five wickets for Uttar Pradesh. At tea break on day three, Uttar Pradesh made 254 runs for the loss of five wickets. Uttar Pradesh got all out for 460 runs and finished with a lead of five runs.

Jharkhand vs Andhra

Jharkhand won the toss and elected to bat. Sharandeep Singh made 115 runs off 209 deliveries and helped Jharkhand post a total of 328 runs on the board. KV Sasikanth and Saurabh Kumar picked up four wickets each for Andhra. At tea break on day two, Andhra made 146 runs for the loss of one wicket. Andhra declared their innings on 567 runs for the loss of six wickets on day three. At lunch on day four, Jharkhand made 156 runs for the loss of eight wickets.

Saurashtra vs Goa

Saurashtra won the toss and opted to bat. Jay Gohil and Arpit Vasavada made a half-century each, while Prerak Mankad and Sammar Gajjar scored a century each for Saurashtra. Saurashtra scored 585 runs for the loss of seven wickets before declaring the innings on day two. Goa got bundled out for 358 runs in their first innings, and Saurashtra enforced a follow-on. Goa got all out for 180 runs and lost the match by an innings and 47 runs. 

Vidarbha vs Baroda

Vidarbha won the toss and elected to bat. No batter managed to score more than 40 runs for the team, and Vidarbha got bundled out for 169 runs. Vishnu Solanki remained unbeaten on 59 runs off 88 deliveries for Baroda in their first innings. Baroda got bundled out for 166 runs. In the second innings, Vidarbha got all out for 272 runs. Baroda made 131 runs before getting all out in the second innings and lost the match by 144 runs.

Madhya Pradesh vs Kerala

Madhya Pradesh won the toss and elected to bowl. Kerala got bundled out for 281 runs in their first innings. Baba Aparajith was the highest scorer for Kerala and made 98 runs off 186 deliveries. Arshad Khan was the pick of the bowlers for Madhya Pradesh and took four wickets for 54 runs. Madhya Pradesh made 192 runs in their first innings. At tea break on day three, Kerala scored 107 runs for the loss of three wickets. Kerala declared their innings on 314 runs for the loss of five wickets. At lunch on day four, Madhya Pradesh made 44 runs for the loss of two wickets.

Karnataka vs Chandigarh

Karnataka elected to bat after winning the toss. Smaran Ravichandran made a double-century for the team. Karun Nair got dismissed on 95 runs. At tea break on day two, Karnataka made 515 runs for the loss of seven wickets. At the end of the day, Karnataka declared their innings at 547 for the loss of 8 wickets. Chandigarh got all out for 222 runs in their first innings. In the second innings, Chandigarh scored 140 runs and lost the match by an innings and 185 runs.

Railways vs Tripura

Tripura won the toss and elected to bat. They got bundled out for 136 runs in the first innings. Raj Choudhary took four wickets for 30 runs in nine overs for Railways. At tea break on day two, Railways had made 377 runs for the loss of six wickets. Mohammad Saif and Bhargav Merai made a century each for Railways. Uttarakhand vs Gujarat

Uttarakhand won the toss and elected to bowl. Gujarat declared their innings on 324 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Jagmohan Nagarkoti took four wickets for 65 runs. At tea break on day two, Uttarakhand scored 180 runs for the loss of six wickets. Uttarakhand added 92 runs to their total before getting bundled out. Bengal vs Assam

Himachal Pradesh vs Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh won the toss and elected to bat. Anuj Tiwary made 162 runs off 260 deliveries, while Mayank Verma scored 112 runs off 154 deliveries. Rajasthan vs Delhi

Delhi won the toss and elected to bowl. Sachin Yadav and Kunal Singh Rathore made a century each. At tea break on day two, Rajasthan made 472 runs for the loss of six wickets. Rajasthan declared their innings on 570 runs for the loss of seven wickets. At tea break on day three, Delhi made 207 runs for the loss of four wickets. Delhi made 296 runs in their first innings. Punjab vs Maharashtra

Punjab won the toss and elected to bowl. Arshin Kulkarani made 133 runs and led Maharashtra to a total of 350 runs on the board. Bihar vs Mizoram

Bihar elected to bowl after winning the toss. Armaan Jaffer (193 runs) and Joseph Lalthankhuma (101 runs) helped Mizoram post a total of 509 runs on the board. Malay Raj and Khalid Alam picked up three wickets each. Bihar lost the wicket of Kumar Rajnish in the third over. At lunch on day three, Bihar scored 354 runs for the loss of four wickets. Manipur vs Meghalaya

Meghalaya opted to bat after winning the toss. They made 430 runs in 115.4 overs before getting bundled out. Rahul Dalal was the highest scorer for the team and made 151 runs off 146 deliveries. Bishworjit Konthoujam, Pheiroijam Jotin, Ajay Lamabam Singh, and Johnson Singh picked up two wickets each. Manipur lost three wickets for 58 runs in 18.4 overs.
