The 2025–26 Super Smash will be the 21st season of New Zealand’s men’s T20 cricket league. The tournament will run from December 26, 2025, to January 31, 2026, with six teams taking part. Each team will play 10 matches in a double round-robin format. After the league stage, the team at the top of the table will go straight to the final, while the second and third-placed teams will play an elimination match to decide the other finalist.

The Super Smash finals will be held at Hagley Oval in Christchurch on January 31. The league features many of New Zealand’s top players, including Black Caps stars and rising young talent.

Super Smash 2025-26 Format
The Super Smash 2025-26 is a Twenty20 cricket competition in New Zealand featuring six teams competing in a double-round-robin league stage. Each team plays 10 group matches (facing every other team twice). Points are awarded as follows: a win gives 4 points, a tie or no result yields 2 points, and a loss results in 0 points.

At the end of the round-robin stage, the top team on the points table advances directly to the final. Meanwhile, the second and third-placed teams contest an elimination final. The winner of the elimination final then faces the top team in the grand final to decide the champion. The tournament runs from December 26, 2025, to January 31, 2026, culminating with the finals at Hagley Oval, Christchurch.
