In reply, the West Indies managed just 100 runs, and India won the match by 318 runs.

India’s win over England in the second Test at Edgbaston was the most significant overseas win for the team in terms of margin of runs. India scored 587 runs in the first innings with the help of a double-century from Gill. England scored 407 runs, and Mohammed Siraj took six wickets.

In the second innings, India declared for 427 runs for the loss of six wickets. This time, England managed just 271 runs before getting bundled out, and India won the match by 336 runs.
