The tournament is divided into four 2 categories, elite and plate. The elite category has five groups containing 6 teams that play each other within the same group. The plate category has the remaining six teams. Each team will face its group rivals in a round-robin, in which each team plays every other team in its group at least once.

Once all group matches are completed, the top teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage of the tournament. This knockout stage starts with the quarter-finals, where teams play elimination matches. The winners then progress to the semi-finals. Finally, the two best teams from the semi-finals face each other in the tournament final.

There is no knockout stage in the plate category. The top two teams at the end of the group stage directly qualify for the final.
