The tournament follows a usual format with the top 4 teams qualifying for the playoffs, which includes two qualifiers and an eliminator, with the remaining big final.

Andhra Premier League 2025 – Teams
The fourth edition of the Andhra Premier League will commence on August 8th and will span over two weeks of spectacular cricket.
The number of participating teams has increased to 7, up from six teams in the previous editions. All these are new teams, and the organisers have made significant changes, including player pool and the introduction of a youth inclusion rule.
The new rule will require each team to include younger players, specifically from the U-19 and U-16 categories, as a mandatory condition

Andhra Premier League 2024 Season
The 2024 season of the Andhra Premier League was filled with action and excitement. Six competitive teams faced off in Kadapa and Visakhapatnam. A total of 19 matches took place, and the top four teams advanced to the playoffs.
