Apollo Tyres has been named the new sponsor of the Indian cricket team’s jersey. The Gurugram-based company has bagged the rights till 2027. During this time, the Indian cricket team will play 121 bilateral games and 21 ICC matches.

Apollo Tyres will replace Dream11 as the jersey sponsor of the Indian cricket team. The BCCI had to terminate the contract with Dream11 after the introduction of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, 2025, which banned real-money gaming and fantasy sports platforms.
Apollo Tyres fought a three-way battle against Canva and JK Cements to bag the deal. Canva made a bid of INR 544 crore, while JK Cements’ bid was of INR 477 crore. Apollo Tyres got the sponsorship rights with a whopping bid of INR 579 crore.
The new deal will help the BCCI fetch a total of INR 4.77 crore for each match. The board was earlier getting INR 4 crore per match when Dream11 was the jersey sponsor.
When Will The Indian Team Wear The New Jersey?
The Indian men’s team will wear the new jersey during the two-match Test series in October against the West Indies, which will start on October 2. The India A team will be the first to don the jersey with Apollo Tyres’ logo on it when they face Australia A in the first Unofficial ODI of the three-match series.

Both the Indian men’s team and the women’s team are currently playing without any sponsors. The men’s team is playing in the ongoing Asia Cup in the UAE, while the women’s team is playing a three-match ODI series against Australia. The first ODI is already over, and the next two matches will be played on September 17 and September 20, respectively.
The women’s team will next feature in the ODI World Cup that is being co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. The first match will be played between the two co-hosts on September 30.
