Arshdeep Singh picked one wicket for 37 runs in four overs in the match against Oman in the Asia Cup 2025. Thus, he became the first Indian bowler to take 100 wickets in T20Is. He now has 100 wickets to his name in 64 games at an average of 18.49, an economy of 8.31, and a strike rate of 13.3.

Arshdeep made his T20I debut in 2022 against England and became only the third Indian bowler to start his T20I career with a maiden over. He took 33 wickets in 21 matches in his debut year, and it was the most wickets taken by a debutant in T20Is for India. In 2023, he finished with 26 wickets to his name in 21 games at an average of 24.46.

Rizwan Butt of Bahrain had the record of the fastest pacer in the world to take 100 wickets in T20Is. He took his 100th wicket in his 66th game, while Arshdeep reached the 100-wicket mark in his 64th match.
