Tilak Varma and Rinku Singh are the other two batters in the squad. Three all-rounders, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, and Shivam Dube, have been named in the squad.

Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, and Harshit Rana are the three pacers in the squad. Two spinners who have been picked in the squad are Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakaravarthy.

The five standby players that are picked in the side are – Prasidh Krishna, Washington Sundar, Riyan Parag, Dhurv Jurel, and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

India last played a T20I game in February this year. Dhruv Jurel was backup wicketkeeper in the side but has been dropped from the squad.
