Dream11, India’s leading fantasy sports platform, has officially expanded its operations to 11 countries. The move comes after the Indian government decided to put a ban on all forms of real-money gaming applications in India. Hence, Dream11 has made a shift in their strategy.

These 11 countries where Dream11 will now be available are the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, New Zealand, Canada, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, and South Africa.
New Zealand is one country where Dream11 had set foot through sponsorships in the past. Dream11 was the sponsor of Super Smash, the domestic T20 tournament in New Zealand, from 2019–20 to 2024-25. Dream11 was the major sponsor in tournaments that were being played in European countries.
Dream11 will operate under a free-to-play model in these 11 countries. The same model that the company is using in India. There won’t be any paid entry contests rather the company will be focusing on user engagement through advertising, sponsorships, and branded experiences.
The company was founded in 2008 in India and became the largest fantasy sports platform in the country. In these 16 years, the company has handled more than 200 million users. The company’s platform is designed to support over 200 million users, giving it a strong base to expand to other countries.
Dream11 Has a Chance to Become the Top Fantasy Gaming Platform in World
Harsh Jain, CEO and Co-founder of Dream11, shared that the goal is to make fantasy sports a global phenomenon. “We’ve seen incredible passion among sports fans across borders. Our aim is to offer a safe, skill-based, and fun platform for fans everywhere,” he said.

Industry experts believe this expansion will not only boost Dream11’s user base but also encourage more competition in the fantasy sports industry. With over 200 million users already registered, Dream11’s move could help it strengthen its position as one of the world’s top fantasy gaming platforms.
