The England Metro Bank One Day Cup 2025 will start on August 5 and end with the final on September 20, 2025. A total of 18 county teams are divided into 2 groups, Group A and Group B. Each team will play exciting 50-over matches at famous stadiums like The Rose Bowl, Edgbaston, Chelmsford, and Old Trafford.

It is one of the rare opportunities for young players to showcase their talents to national team selectors. In the playoffs, the first three teams from each group will advance to knockout games, where they will face each other to determine the champion.

England Domestic One-Day Cup 2025 Tournament Format and Knockout Structure

After completing the group stage matches, the top three teams from each group will advance to the knockout stages.  The table toppers from both groups will advance to the semifinals. Meanwhile, teams at numbers 2 and 3 will face each other in the quarter finals. Winners of the quarter finals will face the table toppers in the semi-finals. The semi-final winning teams will finally play to become the champion of the England domestic one-day Cup 2025.
