2. Azmatullah Omarzai – 20 balls vs Hong Kong (09 September 2025)

Azmatullah Omarzai was in top form during the group stage clash against Hong Kong in the 2025 edition. He reached his fifty in just 20 balls, hitting multiple sixes and boundaries.

His aggressive batting pushed Afghanistan to a commanding total of 188/6 in 20 overs. In return, Hong Kong struggled to keep up and were bowled out cheaply, as Afghanistan won the match by 94 runs.

3. Rahmanullah Gurbaz – 22 balls vs Afghanistan (03 September 2022)

Gurbaz smashed a fiery half-century off 22 balls in a high-scoring Super Four match of the 2022 Asia Cup. He went on to score 84 runs off 45 balls, with six huge sixes.

His innings gave Afghanistan a strong total of 175/6. Despite the effort, Sri Lanka managed a successful chase and won the match by 4 wickets in a thrilling finish.

4. Suryakumar Yadav – 22 balls vs Hong Kong (31 August 2022)

Suryakumar Yadav displayed his explosive skills against Hong Kong in a group match of the 2022 Asia Cup.

He brought up his fifty in just 22 balls, hitting multiple sixes in the final overs and accelerating India’s total to 192/2. His finishing flourish made a huge difference, and India comfortably won the match by 40 runs after restricting Hong Kong to 152/5.

5. Abhishek Sharma – 24 balls vs Pakistan (21 September 2025)

Abhishek Sharma produced a game-changing knock against Pakistan in the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup 2025. He raced to his half-century in just 24 balls with clean hitting and smart shot selection.

Sharma’s quick-fire innings helped India chase down Pakistan’s 171/5 with ease. India won the match by 6 wickets with 7 balls remaining, boosting their position at the top of the table.

6. Babar Hayat – 24 balls vs Oman (19 February 2016)

Babar Hayat smashed a brilliant 50 in just 24 balls during the qualifying stage of the 2016 Asia Cup. He eventually scored 122 runs off 60 balls, including 7 sixes and 9 fours.

Despite his incredible individual performance, Hong Kong fell short in the chase and lost the match to Oman by 5 runs in a closely contested game.

7. Adnan Ilyas – 24 balls vs Afghanistan (20 February 2016)

Adnan Ilyas hit a rapid half-century in just 24 balls for Oman during the qualifiers of the 2016 Asia Cup.

He ended up scoring 54 off 27 balls, providing a strong start for his team. However, Afghanistan proved too strong in the end. They chased down the target comfortably and won the match by 8 wickets.

8. Abhishek Sharma – 25 balls vs Bangladesh (24 September 2025)

Abhishek Sharma showcased his explosive batting in the Asia Cup 2025 Super Fours clash against Bangladesh, smashing a blistering 75 off just 37 balls. He reached his half-century in quick time, placing himself among the fastest fifties in T20I Asia Cup history.

His fearless stroke play, which included 6 fours and 5 sixes, set the tone for India’s total of 168. India’s bowlers then backed it up brilliantly as they bowled out Bangladesh for 127, sealing a 41-run victory, with Abhishek rightly named the Player of the Match.
