The five teams that are going to take part in the tournament are Scotland, Jersey, the Netherlands, Italy, and Guernsey. Scotland and the Netherlands received a direct qualification to the European Qualifier as they were a part of the last edition of the T20 World Cup.

The other three teams have come here after winning the regional qualifiers. Italy won the Europe Qualifier A after defeating Romania in the final. Jersey are the winner of Europe Qualifier B, which was played in Germany last year and defeated Norway in the final. Guernsey won the Europe Qualifier C in their home country in August last year against Denmark.

Each team will face the other four teams once in the tournament. A total of 10 matches will be played at the Sportpark Westvliet in The Hague.

Scotland and the Netherlands have a great chance of qualifying for the T20 World Cup once again. However, they will receive a strong Italian team led by former Australian batter Joe Burns.
