How Does The ILT20 2025-26 Points Table Work?
Here is the simple breakdown of the ILT20 2025-26 points table:
- Teams will receive 2 points after winning the game.
- There will be no point gain if the team loses the match.
- For a no result, both teams will receive 1-1 point each.
If two or more teams have equal points, net run rate (NRR) will decide their ranking.
Format of the ILT20 2025-26
In the ILT20 2025-26, teams will play in a double round-robin league stage, with each of the 6 teams facing each other twice in the group stage. After the conclusion of the league stage, th top 4 teams will qualify for the playoffs, which follows the following structure:
- Qualifier 1: The top 2 teams will face off in Qualifier 1. The winner goes directly to the final.
- Eliminator: Teams at 3rd and 4th place will play in this game, and the loser will be eliminated.
- Qualifier 2: The loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of the Eliminator will have the last chance to qualify for the final, as the winner advances to the final.
- Final: The winners of Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2 will face off to determine the champion.
Notably, the tournament starts on December 2, 2025, and the final is scheduled for January 4, 2026.
