India A won the toss and elected to bowl in the first unofficial Test, which is being played at the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground 1 in Bengaluru. South Africa A posted a total of 309 runs in their first innings. Jordan Hermann made 71 runs and was the highest scorer for the team. Zubayr Hamza and Rubin Hermann made a half-century each. Tiaan van Vuuren made an important contribution of 46 runs. Tanush Kotian was the pick of the bowlers and took four wickets for 83 runs.

Sai Sudharsan and Ayush Mhatre provided a solid start to India A. They added 90 runs for the first wicket. Ayush was the first to depart after scoring 65 runs off 76 deliveries. Indian batters struggled against Prenelan Subrayen as India A lost seven wickets before reaching the 200-run mark. India A were bundled out for 234 runs. No batter apart from Ayush managed to make more than 40 runs for the team. Subrayen took five wickets for 61 runs.

South Africa A Earned A 200-Run Lead In The Second Innings
At stumps on day two, South Africa A made 30 runs. South Africa A lost their first wicket for 30 runs and their second wicket for 84 runs. Tanush took two quick wickets in the 28th over and dismissed Marques Ackerman and Lesego Senokwane. At lunch on day three, South Africa A made 128 runs for the loss of six wickets.

South Africa A lost another wicket after lunch, leaving them at 135 runs. Anshul Kamboj was the pick of the bowlers for India A and took three wickets. Tanush has picked up two wickets, while Manav Suthar and Gurnoor Brar took one wicket each. Senokwane and Hamza have scored 37 runs each.
