The auction for the fourth edition of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2025 took place on Tuesday, July 15. All six teams came to the auction table with the motive to assemble an 18-player squad. Before the auction, all six teams announced the four players that they retained from the squad last year.

Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2025: Retained Players
Here’s the list of players that the teams retained:
- Shivamogga Lions: Koushik V, Nihal Ullal, Hardik Raj, and Avinash D (Purse left – INR 30.80 lakh)
- Mysore Warriors: Karthik SU, Karthik CA, Prasidh Krishna, and Karun Nair (Purse left – INR 36.50 lakh)
- Mangaluru Dragons: Paras Arya, Magneil Noronha, Lochan S Gowda, and Abhilash Shetty (Purse left – INR 37.70 lakh)
- Hubli Tigers: Manvanth Kumar L, Shrijith KL, KC Cariappa, and Karthikeya KP (Purse left – INR 41.50 lakh)
- Gulbarga Mystics: Luvnith Sisodia, Vyshak Vijaykumar, Pravin Dubey, and Smaran R (Purse left – INR 24.05 lakh)
- Bengaluru Blasters: Mayank Agarwal, Shubhang Hegde, Suraj Ahuja, and Naveen MG (Purse left – INR 28.40 lakh)
Devdutt Padikkal emerged as the most expensive player at the auction this year and was picked by Hubli Tigers for INR 13.20 lakhs. The Tigers spent INR 12.20 lakhs for Abinav Manohar, and the duo became the two most expensive players at the auction.
Mysore Warriors, the defending champions, picked Manish Pandey for INR 12.20 lakh. Shivamogga Lions bagged Vidwath Kaverappa for INR 10.80 lakh, while Vidyadhar Patil was picked by Bengaluru Blasters for INR 8.40 lakh. They were the top five most expensive player at the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2025 Auction.
The upcoming season of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 will run from August 11 to 27 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
