Rishabh Pant was born on October 4, 1997, in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. Pant was a part of the Indian Under-19 team that played in the 2016 World Cup. He finished as the second-highest run-scorer for India and made 267 runs in six games at an average of 44.50. Pant was picked by the Delhi Capitals (fka Delhi Daredevils) in the IPL 2026 Auction.

Pant made his IPL debut in 2016 and scored 198 runs in 10 games that season. 1. Fastest Test Century by an Indian Wicketkeeper
In 2022, India travelled to England to play the rescheduled fifth Test from their last tour. India had won two out of the first four Test matches and was leading the series by 2-1. In the first innings, India lost five wickets for under 100 runs. Ravindra Jadeja joined Pant in the middle.

The duo added 222 runs for the sixth wicket, the joint-highest partnership for the sixth wicket outside India. Pant took 89 deliveries to score his century and recorded the fastest Test century by an Indian wicketkeeper-batter.

India needed to chase down a target of 260 runs to win the game, but lost the first four wickets for 72 runs. Pant and Hardik Pandya joined hands and added 133 runs for the fifth wicket. Pant remained unbeaten on 125 runs off 113 deliveries, and India chased down the target in 42.1 overs.
5. Third fastest T20 century by an Indian batter
In 2018, Delhi faced Himachal Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Delhi won the toss and elected to bowl. Himachal Pradesh scored 144 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Delhi’s skipper Pradeep Sangwan took two wickets for 39 runs.
