Rwanda Cricket Association will host a T20I Tri-Series containing Bahrain, Malawi, and Rwanda. The series will start on Friday, July 18. A total of 13 matches will take place in the series. Each team will face the other two teams on four occasions. The top two teams at the end of the first 12 games will face each other in the final of the series, which will take place on Saturday, July 26. All these matches will take place at the Gahanga International Cricket Stadium in Kigali City.
Rwanda and Malawi have played a total of 11 T20I games against each other. Rwanda has won five out of these 11 matches, while Malawi has won the remaining six. Rwanda will face Bahrain in a T20I game for the first time. Malawi has played two matches against Bahrain, and Bahrain has been victorious in both of these games.
Bahrain has been on a great run this year in T20Is and has won 15 out of 19 matches. Rwanda will play a T20I game for the first time this year. Malawi has played six T20I games this year and has won just one of those matches.
