Ace Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah is likely to feature in the playing 11 in the fourth Test in Manchester against England. Before the start of the series, it was reported that Bumrah will play only three out of the five Test matches on this tour.
He has already played two out of the three Test matches of the series. He is the second-highest wicket-taker in the series and has picked 12 wickets in four innings at an average of 21.
The Indian team is trailing in the series 1-2 and the upcoming match will be really important from India’s perspective. The Indian team has already been hit by a massive injury strike. Arshdeep Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy have already been ruled out of this game. Anshul Kamboj has been included in the squad for this game. India will likely make a few changes to the playing 11 for this game, but Bumrah might be a part of the team.

Mohammed Siraj confirmed that Bumrah is likely to play in the fourth Test in Manchester during an interaction with reporters on Monday. India has played a total of nine Test matches in Manchester against England and has never won a Test match here.
“Jassi bhai toh khelenge,” (Jasprit Bumrah will definitely play), Siraj confirmed two days before the start of the match. That is what I know as of now. The combination is changing day by day, so our plan is to see what is best for the team. Akash Deep has picked up a groin strain. He bowled in the morning, but the final call will be taken closer to the start of the match. Anshul has also come in, rightly, after Arshdeep Singh cut his finger,” Siraj said.
