The Women’s Under-19 One Day Trophy 2025-26 is an annual domestic cricket tournament organised by the BCCI for emerging female players under the age of 19. It plays an important role in developing young talent ahead of senior domestic and international competitions.

The tournament is divided into Elite and Plate categories. All Elite matches are being played across Mumbai, Lucknow, Baroda, Hyderabad, and Trivandrum, while Nagpur is hosting all Plate matches.

The Elite League stage runs from December 13 to 21, followed by knockout matches till January 1, 2026, while the Plate competition concluded on December 23, 2025, with Tripura lifting the Plate title after defeating Mizoram in the final.

Defending champions Mumbai are competing in the Elite Group once again and will aim to retain their title in the 2025-26 season.

There are 5 groups in Elite: A, B, C, D, and E. All groups have 6 teams, where each team will play against the others once. On the other hand, the Plate group consists of 6 northeastern states.

Women’s Under 19 One Day Trophy Elite 2025-26

The tournament will run from December 13 to January 1, 2026, at multiple venues. Each team will face the others once in the group stage, with the top 2 teams qualifying for the knockout stage.

Women’s Under 19 One Day Trophy 2025-26 Format 

Here is the simpler breakdown of the format of the tournament:

  • Each team will face every other team in its group once during the league stage.
  • After all group matches, the top two sides from each of the five Elite Groups will qualify for the knockout phase.
  • The five group winners will be ranked from 1 to 5, and each will receive a direct entry into the Quarter Finals.
  • The teams finishing second in each Elite group will be ranked from 6 to 10 based on their performance.
  • Out of these second-placed teams, the one ranked 6th will also qualify directly for the Quarter Finals.
  • The remaining teams, ranked 7 to 10, will compete in the Pre-Quarter Finals (PQFs) to earn the last two Quarter Final spots.
  • For the Plate Group, the top two teams of the Plate Group standings will directly reach the Final, where they will contest for the Plate title.
