There have been a number of domestic T20 leagues that have emerged in the country in the last few months. A league like the Tamil Nadu Premier League has already given a lot of players to the IPL in the past. Priyansh Arya, who had an impressive outing in the Delhi Premier League and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, was sold for a price of INR 3.8 crore in the auction. He impressed with his batting performance in IPL 2025 and scored 475 runs in 17 matches at an average of 179.24.

Top 6 Domestic Players Who Will Be In High Demand At IPL 2026 Auction

Here are six domestic players who will be in the Highest Demand At IPL 2026 Auction

1. Prithvi Shaw

Prithvi Shaw was once regarded as the next big thing in Indian cricket. His performance in domestic cricket and at the Under-19 level helped him play in the IPL as well as for the Indian team. However, things have not been the same for the right-handed batter in recent times.

He didn’t find any buyer during the IPL 2025 Auction and was dropped from Mumbai’s squad as well. He has switched sides and will play for Maharashtra in the upcoming season of domestic cricket. Shaw has been picked in the Maharashtra side for the Buchi Babu Tournament. He made 197 runs in nine games in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy at a strike rate of 156.34 and was Mumbai’s third-highest run-scorer. A decent outing in the upcoming domestic season would mean teams will again line up for Shaw in the IPL 2026 Auction.

2. Sairaj Patil

Sairaj Patil is a 28-year-old all-rounder from Maharashtra and had an impressive outing in the recently concluded Mumbai T20 League. He won the Player of the Tournament award.

With the ball, Sairaj took seven wickets in six matches at an average of 16.29 and an economy of 7.35. He is a middle-order player who can play the role of a finisher and can also bowl four overs regularly. He would be a perfect fit in teams that need a proper all-rounder.

3. Atit Sheth

Atit Sheth is an all-rounder who was a part of India’s Under-19 side that played in the 2014 Under-19 World Cup. The team had players like Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer, Sarfaraz Khan, Deepak Hooda, and Kuldeep Yadav. They have gone on to play for India as well in the IPL; however, Atit didn’t have the same luck.

He scored 291 runs in 11 games at a strike rate of 246.61 and took 18 wickets at an average of 11.72. Atit is a pace-bowling all-rounder and can bat in any position. The IPL has not produced a genuine pace-bowling all-rounder in recent years, and Atit can easily fill this gap.

4. Akshat Raghuwanshi

Akshat Raghuwanshi is a 21-year-old all-rounder from Madhya Pradesh. He made his domestic cricket debut for Madhya Pradesh in 2022 in a Ranji Trophy game against Meghalaya.
