The Tamil Nadu Premier League 2025 concluded on Sunday night, with IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans winning over last year’s winner, Dindigul Dragons. The Tiruppur Tamizhans, led by Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore, defeated the Dragons by a huge margin of 118 runs.
Tushar Raheja was the highest scorer for the Tiruppur Tamizhans and made 77 runs off 46 deliveries. He won the Player of the Match award as well as the Player of the Tournament award. He became only the third player to win both awards.

The Tiruppur Tamizhans qualified for the final for the first time since the start of the tournament while the Dragons were playing their fourth final. The Dragons won an important toss and elected to bowl.

The duo of Amit Sathvik and Tushar Raheja provided a solid start to the Tiruppur Tamizhans. The batters added 121 runs for the first wicket. It was the third-highest partnership by runs this season. Amit was dismissed in the 11th over after scoring 65 runs off 34 deliveries. Sai Kishore came out to bat next and was out for just one run. Tuhsar was the third player to get dismissed and scored 77 runs off 46 deliveries on the first delivery of the 16th over.
The next few batters didn’t let the momentum slip away and added 70 runs in the last five overs. The Tiruppur Tamizhans finished with 220 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. M Karthik Saran was the pick of the bowlers and took two wickets for 44 runs in four overs.
Shivam Singh, who opened the batting with Ravichandran Ashwin this season, couldn’t come out to bat due to an injury. Atul Vitkar came as the impact player and opened the innings with Ashwin. The duo took nine wickets from the first over bowled by T Natarajan.
However, the Dragons’ fate changed right from the second over as R Silambarasan bowled Ashwin for just one run. By the end of the sixth over, the Dragons had lost four wickets and had 55 runs on the board.
The team could score just 27 runs in the next four overs and lost three wickets in the process. The team was bundled out for just 102 runs in 14.4 overs and lost the match by 118 runs. Esakkimuthu A, Silambarasan, and Mohan Prasath took two wickets each for the Tiruppur Tamizhans. Atul was the only batter for the Dragons, who could score more than 20 runs.

Tushar was the highest scorer this season and finished with 488 runs in nine outings at an average of 61 and a strike rate of 185.55. He scored five half-centuries this season. Tushar scored the most runs in a season. Arun Karthik held the previous record and scored 472 runs for the Siechem Madurai Panthers during the 2018 edition.
R Sonu Yadav was the most successful bowler this season. He took 16 wickets in seven games at an average of 12.81, an economy of 7.98, and a strike rate of 9.62.
