PSL Match 13: PZ vs MS Preview

Peshawar Zalmi will challenge the Multan Sultans in the 13th match of Pakistan Super League 2022. 

Multan Sultans are the only side in the tournament who are yet to lose a match. They are on a four match winning streak and are at the top of the points table. They are playing as a unit with their batters and bowlers performing very consistently. The likes of Shan Masood, Rilee Rossow, Khushdil Shah, David Willey etc. have been in good form and performing really well for the Multans. Mohammad Rizwan hasn’t been at his best after the first two games but expect him to come good and lead the team from the front. 

Peshawar Zalmi, on the contrary, had a mixed tournament till now as they’ve won 2 games and lost 2. They won their last match after losing two games on a trot. Their batting, the middle-order in particular, have been playing at a very low strike-rate and they’ll need to rectify that quickly. Their management made a big blunder in the last match sending Ben Cutting ahead of inform Sherfane Rutherford. Rutherford and Malik are the two batters apart from the openers who are doing well for Peshawar.

Their bowling however, is looking quite weak with Wahab Riaz absolutely failing to pick wickets or stop the flow of runs. Only Usman Qadir is bowling well while Mohammad Usman who played his first match last night picked 3 wickets. It will be very tough for Peshawar to win against the mighty Multan side.
