PSL Match 17: LQ vs MS Preview

The 17th game of PSL 2022 will be played between the Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Multan Sultans are the best team of PSL 2022 after 16 games. They have played 6 and are yet to lose a game in the tournament. Their squad is very well balanced and everyone is sticking to their strengths and that's the main reason for their unbeaten performance. Shan Masood is the second highest run scorer of PSL 2022 and he alongside the ever consistent Mohammad Rizwan, gives them a great start in almost every game. Then they have the likes of Tim David, Rilee Roussouw, Sohaib Maqsood, etc who can just take the momentum forward and score plenty of runs in the death overs.

Shahnawaz Dahani, Imran Tahir, Blessing Muzarabani, David Willey, etc have been exceptional with the ball assisting the batters well. Tahir is the second highest wicket-taker at the moment in PSL 2022. Multan are on a winning streak and they'll look to keep it going. 

Lahore Qalandars, meanwhile, are one of the best teams of the tournament. They too have a very balanced squad and are playing really good cricket as well. Fakhar Zaman and Abdullah Shafique open for them. Zaman, currently, is the highest run scorer in PSL 2022 while Shafique has been in good form as well. The likes of Phil Salt and Harry Brook have strengthened the middle-order. Brook in particular has played two excellent cameos in the death overs.

Their bowling is one of the best in the competition with Rashid Khan, Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf form the core of their bowling. Zaman Khan and David Wiese have assisted them really well. Lahore lost their last game and will be eyeing a return on the winning track.
